Subject: bible question from bro Mike
Good day! l am writing to seek your
help for an answer to a bible question l have in my christian
journey!
Can you tell me what is the foundation truth of the Bible; what we claim to be the
foundation doctrinal scripture text of the whole Bible?
In other word's can you tell me what
Doctrine are all the other doctrines of Christian faith based on? If you can do
that, l will be very grateful to you!
Because He is worthy,

ANSWER Given
Mike,
Thank you for your question.
The foundation truth Christianity
is based on is “Repentance and forgiveness”, which is also “the love of God for
mankind”.
Eze.18:21-22:
But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath
committed,
and keep all my
statutes, and do that which is lawful and right,
he shall surely
live, he shall not die.
All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall
not be mentioned
unto him: in his
righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
Eze. 33:19
But if the wicked turn from his wickedness,
and do that which
is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.
The Lord Jesus Christ came to redeem us from the curse of the
law;
to give us the new-birth and make a new
creature in us that will sin no more, and fulfill the verses in Ezekiel above.
1John 1:7, 9
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we
have fellowship one with another,
and the blood of
Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive
us our sins,
and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.
I said “forgiveness” is the Love of God for mankind. Love
gives and forgives, and we Christians
are also commanded to walk in love, and
forgive those that offend us. (Romans 13:10).
John 13:34
A new commandment I give unto you, That
ye love one another;
as I have loved
you, that ye also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye
have love one to another.
Love gives:
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son,
that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Love forgives:
Mat.6:12-16
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly
Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will
your Father forgive
your trespasses.
God bless you

How do you share your gratitude to God ? Praise Him every day, sing praises to his name. (psalm 149:1, 147:1)
Which good work has He done in
your life recently that merits celebration ? Psalm
103 :1-5 sums it all.
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his
holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his

I'm not sure where your information is coming from, but it is slanted in the
wrong way. Things has gone up in price in America l told them. What once cost
$10 now is around $15 to $20. Old people who are on a pension are seeing their
money buying less and less. Businesses are closing their doors. People are out
of work with some not wanting to work. Stores are beginning to have empty
shelves. Gasoline has doubled in price putting a hardship on folks who must
drive several miles to get to work each day. Telling a lie seems to be the new

MANY STUDENTS ARE NOW SITTING AT HOME AND IDLE. FEW DAYS AGO I CAME ACROSS SOME OF THESE STUDENTS DISCUSSING THAT AMERICA IS MUCH MORE BETTER NOW BECAUSE OF THE GOOD THINGS THAT THE CURRENT PRESIDENT IN DOING.
THEY THINK HE IS MAKING AMERICA GREAT AND GIVING THEM HOPE FOR A BETTER TOMORROW. THEY CREDITED THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION FOR UNITING THE NATION OF AMERICA COMPARING TO WHERE IT WAS HEADING TO DURING THE TIME OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AND THAT EVEN THOUGH MANY CHRISTIANS IN AMERICA THINKS THE ELECTION VICTORY WAS STOLEN BUT RIGHT NOW NOW THEY SEEMS TO HAVE PUT THAT ASIDE FEELING THE FRESH AIR IN THIS NEW ADMINISTRATION. SOME EVEN CREDITED THE PRESIDENT FOR THE WISE WISDOM HE HANDLES SOME ISSUES LIKE THAT OF KING SOLOMON, LIKE THE WISDOM HE IS USING TO DEAL WITH THE RUSSIAN/UKRAINE CRISIS THAT MANY AT FIRST THOUGHT THAT HE WAS WEAK BUT TODAY THESE CHRISTIAN ARE SEEING HIS DECISIONS FRUITFUL, ELSE IF HE HAS DONE OTHERWISE HE WOULD HAVE DRAWN AMERICA IN A DIRECT CONFRONTATION/WAR WITH RUSSIAN, DESTABILIZE EUROPE AND HENCE A THIRD WORLD WAR EMERGING.. "There shall be a third world war and Japan shall be the cause of it, saith the Lord, but not until after the Lord has sent a mighty revival to usher in multitudes into his kingdom".
Now the above statement was direct vision from the Lord to me several years ago. Therefore we are watching the events between China and the South-China sea that is forming, between Taiwan, and China, which definitely will draw America and Japan into the conflict.
We believers should keep looking up for our redemption draweth nigh.

Kelly,
Thank you for your email.
The hope that is in us as Christians we should joyfully tell others are as follows:
1) My sins are forgiven me in Christ :
1John 2:12 -- I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
2) I already have Eternal life:
1John 5:13 -- These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
John 5:24 -- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
John 6:47 -- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
3) There is the 1st resurrection and a New Jerusalem for Believers:
John 6:40 -- And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:44 -- No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6: 54 -- Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Rev.20: 4-6 -- And I saw thrones,
and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the
souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of
God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had
received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and
they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand
years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he that
hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power,
but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a
thousand years
Rev; 21:2 -- And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God
out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
4) In Christ Jesus, I shall live forever. I can even live without dying from now:
John 6:58 -- This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
John 8:51 -- Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
John 11:25-26 -- Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
These are bible verses and the sayings of our Lord Jesus Christ that guarantees our hope.
God bless you.

QUESTION
Subject: MY BIBLE STUDY FOR MY CONGREGATION
Greetings to you in the lovely name of Jesus our Lord
l can start off with an introduction of myself as Pastor Kelvin Uwako. Seeing our church getting flooded recently due to down pour of rain from linking roofs was heartbreaking. We have been through many floods, as the ceiling had rotten but what can l do when there is no help to get a repair, below is what l prepare to teach the church congregation next week!
The Thing About Noah
June 20, 2022
Did Noah Preach to the people of his day? Did he invite them to get on the Ark and be saved?
There is this popular belief out there that people use to make a point about people not listening to their end-time or salvation warnings. They claim that the people of Noah’s day didn’t listen to him either and they were destroyed in the flood because of it. The thing is that this is not even Biblical. There are no scriptures that say this or even imply it. Since we want to be like Bereans and search the scriptures to see if it be true, let’s take a look at the relevant scriptures.
First, turn in your Bibles to Genesis 6. We learn by reading this chapter that God has determined to wipe out humanity and all life on earth in a great flood. However, one man, Noah, has found favor in His sight. He decides to spare Noah and his wife along with Noah’s three sons and their wives. He tells Noah to build an ark. He gives Noah detailed instructions about how to build the ark and who and what to bring on the ark. Nowhere in the passage do we read about God telling Noah to preach to the world and invite others to come along on the journey and be saved from the flood.
I believe that doing so would actually have violated the word of Yahweh. Yahweh was not planning to save anyone except those eight souls as we read in Genesis 6:18 “But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.”
You will note the absence of “and anyone who believes your preaching about the flood and decides to come with you.” There is nothing about inviting anyone else along. Noah and his family were chosen for one reason. We learn that reason in Genesis 6:9 and Genesis 7:1 NASB
These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.
Then the LORD said to Noah, “Enter the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this generation.
The phrase “blameless in his generations” when researched in the Blue Letter Bible Strong’s Concordance we learn means whole, healthy, sound, complete. This has been shown by others to mean by the context that Noah had pure DNA not corrupted by Nephilim DNA.
The Lord was determined to wipe out all corruption. He also wanted to preserve a human line to bring Yeshua into the world. Yeshua had to come from an uncorrupted DNA line.
If others had been allowed to enter the ark then this might not have happened. As it was, Ham corrupted himself shortly after exiting the ark.
Another Scripture we see used to imply that Noah preached to the people of his day with the intent to invite them to get on the ark and be saved is found in Matthew 24:37-39:
“For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
However, this verse does not say that Noah preached to the unrighteous or that they laughed at him and refused to listen. It does say that people will be living their life as they have always done and will be caught unaware just like in Noah’s day. People in Noah’s day were going about their normal routine and were caught unaware until the flood took them. This passage actually says, “and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away;”
Now people say that this means that they did not understand what rain was. We must be careful though not to engage in making the Bible say what we want it to say. It does not say anything about not understanding rain. Context gives us a better clue as to what they did not understand. The context compares it to the coming of the Son of Man. The context is talking about destruction. I believe that they did not understand the danger they were in until danger took them. Maybe you can make an argument for the danger being caused by rain and because they did not understand what rain was then they didn’t understand the danger they were in. Possible, but again mostly speculation. They did have rivers and people probably drowned in them occasionally, so they would have understood drowning. Whether or not the people in Noah’s day understood rain or not is a whole different study.
One thing we can know for sure is that no one else was invited to join Noah and his family on the ark. Why? Because Genesis tells us exactly what God instructed Noah to do in detail and that detail does not include anything about preaching to other people and inviting them to be saved by getting on the ark.
In fact, the passages in Genesis chapters 6 and 7 tell us that no one else was allowed to get on the ark as God only authorized eight people to get on the ark. These verses tell us that Noah did everything that God commanded. It tells us in Matthew that they did not know what was going to happen until it did. If Noah had told them, then shouldn’t they have known what was coming and therefore, not been completely caught unaware or at the very least had some small understanding of what was going to happen?
The Bible does say in 2 Peter 2:5 that Noah was a preacher of righteousness, but preaching about righteousness is different from inviting people to get on the ark. Once again it is possible that while Noah was busy building the ark that he told some people to repent and they might get permission to enter the ark and be saved, too. However, there is no Biblical support for this belief. This doctrine is reading into scripture that which is not there. It actually undermines the purposes of God in saving Noah and his family. It is trying to connect a past event to a future event in an attempt to justify an eschatological point of view. I think we must be careful in interpreting the Bible to fit our own personal belief system. Rather we need to take 2 Timothy 2:15 to heart, especially the part about correctly handling the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
I hope this has helped you in learning to be a Berean and search the scriptures to learn for yourself if what people teach is true or not. This is certainly not an exhaustive study on this topic, so please feel free to comment on this bible study and let me know what you think? please do!
1. DO THINK MY BIBLE STUDY IS GOOD OR SATISFACTORY ????????????? SO I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR FEEDBACK once you have read through it!

ANSWER GIVEN:
Subject: RE: MY BIBLE STUDY FOR MY CONGREGATION
Pastor Kelvin,
Thank you for your email.
I read through your presentation and it is interesting.
Wisdom teaches us to simply present the word as we are enlightened. I normally would present several opinions that has been expressed about an historical writing and tell which opinion I accept. Remember the stories in the old testament are historical events. Different people even in that time frame would explain what happened differently.
So I won't fault anyone "reading between the lines" when they express what they thought might have happened.
Example. The writer of 2Samuel 24:1 and writer of 1Chronicle 21:1 differ on the same historical event as to who did it. One said Satan did it, the other said God did it.
A 2nd example: The sons of God in Gen.6:1-2; Some expositors believe it represented the line of Seth (Adam's line) are referred to as sons of God, while the line of Cain are the daughters of men. Others accept the angelic watchers as the sons of God referenced, as written in Jude who referred to the book of Enoch. (Jude v6. V14).
My point is, even if you were present when it happened, you will only report as you understood it, which will differ from how the other guy in the same event understood what's happening.
If I ask you to tell me what happened in Lagos when soldiers opened fire on protesters at the toll-gate a year or two ago, you may present it from one angle. The government reporter will present it from another angle, while the organizers of the protest will present it from another angle. Various explanations for the same historical event.
So, as you teach in your bible study, I will admonish to present all the opinions raised and tell the opinion you subscribe to, without calling the other opinions "false". This goes for the interpretation of all the prophetic future events also.
God bless.

Praise the Lord for your testimony.
As a believer and a child of God, healing is the children’s bread. Our faith has to be exercised in the word of God, adamantly.
Quite often, we all desire to receive our healing by God’s intervention called manifestation of the Spirit, in the gifts of Healing, or working of miracles.
When that is not manifested, every believer can claim the promise of the word of God by faith. E.g Mark 11:23-25.
Study those verses carefully. I will refer you to my sermons on healing in the links below, because “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Question:
Subject: Ye Soldiers of the Cross!
I turn 62 years old this month. my name is Pholessdau Etalo.
Do you know that 85% of evangelical churches in Africa lack a pastor trained in sound doctrine and ministry. As a result, millions of new believers are waiting to be taught ‘all that (Christ) has commanded’ us (Matt 28:20).
"The burden to teach pastors with no access to formal training falls on some ministers and lay leaders who have received it who comes mostly from America.” many of us turn to overseas to write to some men of God in USA to learn the word of God and sometimes articles prepared by men of God are sent to our inbox weekly or monthly etc just like this one below. please can you help me go through it and share comments!
==============================================================
TOUCHDOWN!
Ye Soldiers of the Cross!
I am absolutely so inspired when i cross paths with workers who are truly living the Christian life in the workplace.
Those who have followed Worker Ministries throughout the years should not be surprised because of who we are.
We are a Christian based organization that is dedicated to helping individuals find the calling God has for them,
finding the job position that fits that calling, and then becoming a soldier of the cross.
And, exactly what is that?
Be ye doers of the Word not hearers only. (James 1:22) It is one who sets the example of being a true follower of
Jesus Christ and what better place to do that than at work where most of us live over one third of our lifetime.
I realize how easy it is to place these words into a monthly newsletter because, in such a sinful age as this,
living the Christian life anywhere becomes more difficult each day.
Ridicule has always been a fact of life. However, the intensity and the frequency has never been greater than what
we Christians face today whether at work or elsewhere.
In the neighborhood in which I reside, there exists a kind of email network which enables any resident to send a message
which all neighbors can receive at the same time. Just a few years ago, someone emailed a message concerning some
kind of ungodly situation that had occurred in another area. I responded in stating this is further evidence that we are
truly living in the last days.......no preaching....just a one sentence statement of fact. The individual who controls the email
network immediately sent me a message stating that what I had said was not appropriate and was an insult to the other
neighbors and their faith and if I did this again, I would be barred from participating in the network.
Sound familiar?
Oh....how they love to refer to faith but I ask, faith in what? Faith in whom? After all there are many, today, who place
their faith in Mohammed and in idols.
But, I must remember that this is the same kind of ridicule which Christ had to confront during His earthly ministry.
Jesus has a quality which was a major ingredient to his own perseverance. It is a characteristic that is missing among so many
in the Christian community. It is called….
C O U R A G E!
Thank God there are still many Bible believing Christians who do go beyond the ritual of singing Onward Christian Soldiers in their church.
These are the soldiers. These are the ones who never throw in the towel and walk away from a God given opportunity to represent Christ.
Yes, they always carry with them the badge of courage!
For quite sometime my thoughts and prayers have been with Joe Kennedy, a former high school football coach from the state of Washington.
His Christian life became amplified after he refused to stop leading prayers with players on the field after games AND after being told
he could also not pray alone on the field. As a result, he was fired.
The kind of reaction to Coach Kennedy’s Christian life has become the norm in a country that has quickly graduated from being a
Christian nation into a heathen one.
But, he had the courage to take his case to court at which time he and his family would face a long road ahead taking a heavy toll on
their lives because of ridicule and criticism that might feel unbearable at times.
He eventually appealed to the Supreme Court a lower court's ruling that rejected his claims that the local public school district's decision to
suspend him violated his religious exercise and free speech rights under the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment.
At issue was whether, as a public employee, Coach Kennedy's prayers and Christian-infused speeches alongside players amounted to governmental speech, which can be regulated under Supreme Court precedents, or a
private act separate from his official duties, which the First Amendment would protect.
Now, before I can finish writing this newsletter, I have just been informed that the Supreme Court has ruled in his favor.

Question:
Subject: HOW DOES GOD GETS OUR ATTENTION ??
Good morning SIX (6) days ago some believers Visited me an elderly person in our local nursing home. When one of the visitors knew my deep hunger to study the Word of God, this email was dropped for me.. please I have a Bible question l want answers for --
A BIBLE QUESTION - HOW DOES GOD GETS OUR ATTENTION ?
God bless you and your family circle.
Pa Gregory
SOKOTO, NORTHERN Nigeria
Answer Given:
Dear Pa Gregory.
God calls people attention in several ways, that people may not realize it's God getting their attention.
Let's look at it from the bible.
1) Haggai 1: 5-6;
5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of
hosts; Consider your ways.
6 Ye have sown much, and bring in
little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink;
ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth
wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts;
Consider your ways.
&
Amos 4:6 11
v.9 states: I have smitten you with blasting and
mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards
and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the
palmerworm devoured them:
yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
The above few statements show that when things are NOT working out fine, it ought not so to be. If people will realize it and they turn to God in repentance, then God will turn things around.
2) Psalm 107:10-13
10 Such as sit in darkness and in the
shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
11 Because they rebelled against the
words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
12 Therefore he brought down their
heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none
to help.
13 Then they cried unto the LORD in their
trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
&
3) Psalm 107:17-20.
17 Fools because of their transgression,
and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the
gates of death.
19 Then they cry unto
the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth
them out of their distresses.
20 He sent his word, and
healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
The above few statements show that even sickness should cause men to turn to God. God does not send the sickness. The Devil is the enemy that attack people. When that occurs, if people cry unto God, he will deliver. So God allows the attacks to call people attention to Himself.
4) Jeremiah 25:4
4 And the LORD hath sent unto you all
his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them;
but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.
5 They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your
doings,
and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and
to your fathers for ever and ever:
6 And go not after other gods to
serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger
with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.
7 Yet ye have not hearkened unto me,
saith the LORD; that ye might provoke me to anger with the
works of your hands to your own hurt.
The above verses show that the preachers are also used by God to call people attention to repentance. When men don’t turn, then judgement follows.
Therefore, we turn to God by accepting Jesus Christ as the Lord
and our Saviour, and that he died for our sins and
rose again by the power of the Holy Ghost, and he is coming again. Romans 10:9-10 : That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Pray this prayer : Lord Jesus,
I repent from my sins. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my
Lord, and that God has raised Him from the dead for my justification. I
believe I am saved now. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. From today I
belong to Jesus Christ. Amen!

Subject: Scripture for Today:
Calvary greetings in Jesus name!
Upon getting your email from a pastor who did received a good feedback from you
as regards to
a bible question he discusses with you. l felt led to share my
""Scripture for Today"" with you!
Scripture for Today: How is it that the Lord Jesus is both God and man at the
same time?
There are scriptures that should convince most people that Jesus is not
half-human and half-divine … HE IS WHOLLY DIVINE AND WHOLLY HUMAN.
One of the very important facts is that only God can be worshiped; the
Lord Jesus was worshiped. During the time of King Herod, when Jesus was
born, the Magi came asking: “Where is the one who has been born king of
the Jews? We have come to worship Him.” Matthew 2:1-2 And others
when He was worshiped here:
Matthew 2:11, 9:18, 14:33, 28:9; John 9:38; Luke
24:52; Titus 2:8; Philippians 2:10
The Savior Jesus Christ is THE BIGGEST GREATEST miracle of almighty God that He
is Theanthropos, the God-man. He is one eternally divine Person who will
forever possess two distinct yet inseparable natures: one divine and one human.
Praise His holy name!

Subject: The Rapture of the Church & Coming of the King Jesus
We do a lot of bible study here and most times discussions always arises amongst ourselves!
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 "The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."
Jesus said: "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." Matthew 24:29-31
The Apostle John's Vision:
"I saw heaven opened and behold, a white horse, and the One sitting upon it called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war." Revelation 19:11

Question:
Subject: Were both Jews & Gentiles Fed by Jesus?
We do a lot of bible study here and most times question always
arises!
Were both Jews & Gentiles Fed by Jesus?
Miraculous Feeding of 4000 & 5000: Jews
& Gentiles?
-- There is a revisionist opinion among New
Testament scholars that the Lord Jesus' second miraculous feeding (the 4,000)
was done deep in the Decapolis region predominantly among Gentiles. The
Apostle Mark especially gives the location of the event as having occurred
in “the midst of the borders of Decapolis” (Matthew 15:21-28.Mark 4:35-7:31 ) suggesting it was on the fringes of the
Decapolis area on the east side of the Sea of Galilee and the Jordan River. The
location of the feeding of the 4,000 makes a lot of difference in understanding
how broad the ministry of Christ was among Gentiles. [
someone l know doesn't believe it was Gentiles] ... more ... As
Christ’s entire earthly ministry was restricted to the Jewish people; there is
no reason to believe that the 4,000 were any different from the 5,000 fed
before. They were Jewish people from the Sea of Galilee area who came to hear
the Master. Matthew 14:13-21; Mark 6:32-44; Luke
9:10-17; John 6:1-14

ANSWER
GIVEN:
It doesn’t matter much whether many gentiles were in the crowd. No one was separating them. Jews and Gentiles alike were welcome.
Bear in mind the people classified as Jews in the days of Jesus were people from Judea (tribe of Judah only). Those were the people that returned from Babylon. (2Chr.36:20-23). But several members of the lost 10 tribes sneaked back in and joined them. The Samaritans were the people from the lost 10 tribes who were brought back by the Assyrian king to live among the gentiles that the Assyrians moved into the land. (mixed Israelis and Gentiles). (2Kings 17:24-34)
All the people in Galilee were mixed, many from tribes of Israel who were NOT Jews. That is why the gospel writers always said “the Jews” said x, or y, because they themselves were not Jews, only used the “umbrella” name “Jews”. Anyone not from the tribe of Judah was not a Jew.
For example Apostle Paul said he was from the tribe of Benjamin, so he was NOT a Jew by tribe, just by religion.. However, over the years it became the “umbrella” name for anyone that follows the Mosaic laws or Judaism religion.
QUESTION:
Subject: 'LEFT BEHIND' starring Nicholas Cage - .
We do a lot of bible study here and some times examples of events are relayed in our study so we get better understanding!
The full length 2014 movie 'LEFT BEHIND' starring Nicholas Cage is now being aired on YouTube ... complimentary. I've only watched a little; but seems very realistic of what may happen when the Lord Jesus snatches out His kids in what's called the 'RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH.' Summary:
The entire planet is thrown into mayhem when millions of people disappear without a trace -- all that remains are their clothes and belongings. Unmanned vehicles crash and planes fall from the sky, overwhelming emergency forces and causing massive gridlock, riots and chaos. Airline pilot Ray Steele (Nicolas Cage) struggles to save the lives of the passengers who remain on his flight, while his daughter (Cassi Thomson) races to find her brother and mother, both of whom have disappeared.

Some angels are almighty God’s messengers; some are warriors. They provide various services for the Lord.
Many are for His elect people; they guide, protect, strengthen, encourage and instruct us. There are armies of angels serving God.
They may be visible or invisible. They have appeared in different ways: in dreams, shining in glory dazzling light or as a common man.

We see the exact phrase: "Jesus wept." in two verses of the Bible - over His friend Lazarus & the wicked city of Jerusalem. We are told that as He was going along to Lazarus' grave [John 11:28] meditating upon the state of His friend, the distress of his two sisters and the greater damnation that would befall the Jews, who after all His miracles, would not believe in Him; the world’s Savior wept. QUESTION
Subject: Anointing of Jesus Before Crucifixion
We do a lot of bible study here and most times question always arises!
The Anointing is mentioned in three incidents causing some confusion, but the differences are significant enough to warrant viewing them
as separate events. Chronological list follows:
Luke 7:36–50, taking place in the house of Simon the Pharisee in Galilee about a year before the crucifixion (Luke 7:1, 11). The woman on this occasion
was forgiven of many sins, but her name is not given; she anointed Jesus’ feet with the perfume. She comes to Jesus weeping and showing
loving worship to the One who forgave her of her sins. [No comment noted] John 12:1-7 at the home of Lazarus six days before Passover. The name of the woman who anointed Jesus feet is Mary, Martha’s sister; no anointing
of His head is mentioned.
Matthew 26:6–13 and Mark 14:3–9 describe the same event, which occurred two days before Passover involving an unnamed woman who entered the home of Simon the
leper in Bethany. Both passages mention an alabaster box, and both say that the unnamed woman anointed Jesus’ head.
any comments on this ?
In Christ Love,
Brother Benjamin & Jane
ANSWER GIVEN:
Bear in mind, the stories were written several years after it happened. (I tried to write my own biography and missed several key details of what happened 20-40 years earlier).
Some of the writers were not eye-witness, but were only reporting what they heard the apostles relate.
Mark and Luke were definitely not present and several of Mark's account were copied from Matthew's. Apostle John was the positive eye-witness, and he wrote his gospel after reading what the earlier ones had penned; that is why he put in stories others did not write, like the raising of Lazarus.
There were definitely two occasions of women anointing Jesus as you pointed out. John 12:1-7 mentioned 6 days before pass-over; which read as if it was in Martha's house. But knowing Bethany was a small town or village, it is possible the dinner was in Simon the Leper's house and the sisters were there to serve. Which can mean the story is the same event written by John (as 6-days before Passover) and written by Mark and Matthew as 2-days before the Passover.
Also, it could be two occasions both in Bethany, because, from the time the Lord rode donkey into Jerusalem, he stayed around till crucifixion, going back and forth from Bethany to Jerusalem.(Mat.21:17). So there could be dinner 6 days before Passover and another one 2 days before Passover, but only one of them will bear the rebuke of Judas Iscariot.
Now whether the perfume was poured on the head or feet of Jesus, can easily be confused because according to John, Mary anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped it with her hair, so the atmosphere was perfumed, and people around would wonder is it the head or the feet? Everywhere was smelling perfume. I'd take John's record because he was the disciple always leaning at Jesus bosom.(John 13:23).
The first occasion in Luke 7:36–50, taking place in the house of Simon the Pharisee, was definitely different in that it was tears of the woman she used to wash Jesus feet and wiped them with her hairs before anointing with perfume.
In all, Jesus is Lord!
QUESTION:
Subject: How do we relate to an invisible God ??
Greetings in Jesus's mighty name. l have a Bible question for this month of May.
1 Timothy 1:17
17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

important!!

ANSWER
GIVEN:
Dear Daniel.
Thank you for your email.
We relate to the invisible God now through our Lord Jesus Christ. Even then, it is started by “faith” believing that God is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
(Heb.11:6). “But
without faith it is impossible to please him: for
he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is
a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Through our Lord Jesus Christ you can know God. (John 14:21-23) (KJV)
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth
me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself
to him.
22 Judas saith unto him,
not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not
unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and
said unto him, If a man
love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we
will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Take note that the Lord Jesus said He will manifest himself to us. Many of the true believers see Jesus in visions and dreams as he promised: “The world see me no more, but ye see me”.
(John 14:19) Yet a little while, and
the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I
live, ye shall live also.
(1John
4:12-13 :
12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love
one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in
us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.)
So, that’s how we relate to God. He lives inside us
by the Holy Spirit he has given us. We can ask Him for counselling and he
leads our lives.
Seek to know
Him intimately like that through our Lord Jesus Christ. It’s called
personal relationship with the Lord.
When you are
born again, and you read the bible daily, he talks to us through his word.
God bless you.

QUESTION:
Subject: Bible lessons of I. B. ?
Men have claim to teach the truth and even own a website where they places the word of God for people to read and learn from God's word, however some of these men and websites have either add or remove from what the Bible say, that their teaching become the tradition of men and this does please God and His only begotten son Jesus Christ.
So do you appreciate the lessons and teaching of I. B.?

ANSWER GIVEN:
Thank you for your email.
Every preacher preaches or teaches according to the understanding they have. When it comes to prophecy interpretations, which I think I. B. specializes on, many teachers give their interpretation, and it is wise that we should not judge the interpretation until it fulfil itself. If your spirit agrees with the interpretation, take it, if your spirit disagrees with the interpretation, leave it alone.
For example, take Isaiah 53: If some prophets were asked before Jesus was born what Isaiah meant, neither they nor even Isaiah would be able to interpret it correctly. A good example was what the Lord Jesus asked the Scribes, : How say Christ is the son of David? David himself said in the spirit "the Lord said to my Lord, sit at my right hand till I make thy enemies thy footstool. David therefore called him Lord, How say you that He is David's son?" They could not answer. (Mark 12:36-37). So their interpretations were all wrong until Christ came and revealed the meaning.
God bless you.

Hello,
I need to know what scripture I
can use to comfort families that have children with diseases or deformities. I
know this is not the will of God for any of us to suffer and that the Word of
God says that by His stripes we were healed. How do I share my faith with them
that it doesn't matter what we see or feel that we walk by faith? How do you
explain to them why this has happened and that God didn't do this to them and
back it up with scripture? I know that it's Satan that kills, steals, and destroys
but what can I say to get it across to them.

Hi Diane.
Here are few bible verses of consolation:
Psalm 30:5b “weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”.
Psalm 30:11 -- God shall turn your mourning into dancing (paraphrased)
Rom.8:28 – “We know that all things work together for good, to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”
As far as death is concerned, God does not kill us. The devil is the thief that cometh to kill, to steal and to destroy. After it’s all said and done, it is still true that when the saints die, they depart to be with the Lord, and are in paradise, a place of waiting till the resurrection when they shall arise and get a new immortal body. (Phil.1:23).

Hello Diane.
I re-read your question again, and realized you asked about those with deformity or diseases.
We should not try to explain “why these things happen”. The only answer is “the fallen world” causes those things to happen.
We see a typical example in Gospel of John chapter 9, about the man born blind. The scribes and Pharisees had explained it over the years before Christ came that, the man or his parents must have sinned. When the disciples asked the Lord Jesus, his answer was “Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him”. (Jn.9:3) Then the Lord restored the man. Meditate on that!
What I tell people is “In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thes.5:18). There is a lot we can say on that. I will defer it to a whole sermon.
Remain blessed.

Peace be unto you.
If you have called him “Jesus” and prayed to him as Jesus, and he has answered your prayers, stick with Jesus.
He loves you.
A Testimony: I was in a dream, before I was born-again, and was pursued by a wicked assailant. I screamed and cried out “Jesus”!
And an heavenly army began to march towards me, and the enemy fled.
So, don’t change from the name in the bible you have. In Yoruba, it is written “Jesu”.
Whatever name is written in your bible as “no other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
Remember to call him the complete name “Lord Jesus Christ”. There are so many Jesus’s. Even Yahshua is used by many as their name.
So which Yahshua are you calling?
A friend’s name is “David” and “Mace”. He told me he prefer to be called Mace as all his friends call him by that name. Who calls you by “David” I asked.
His mom, and his ex-wife. To him, it would be rude and insult for anyone else to call him “David”.
So, Yahshua is not the name the gentiles call Lord Jesus Christ.
Bless you.
